What a great couple. We met with them a couple months back, and they were working through a long distance relationship: Dallas to London! Yikes! But they made it and their celebration was incredible! The day started off with great weather and then all of the sudden it poured for a good couple of hours...in the end the sun shone through and we got some great light. It's always fun to shoot at a venue that has a certain "feel" and the Tribute, with it's expansive grasses and isolated nature, just created the perfect atmosphere. Great couple, great night, great fun.

Everyone had a great time at Audrey and Greg's wedding. The ceremony was short and sweet, and allowed guests to filter on to the reception held at UTA's Bluebonnet Room. Greg's groomsmen were cracking me up the entire day. I got a couple of good portraits of them, well...just being them. Greg's hoe-down and the sparkler departure were a couple of my favorite times of the day.

Ryan and I spent last weekend hanging out with Barry and Kiira. Both of them were so relaxed and confident. Being music teachers it was cool the way they incorporated a string quartet and a hymnal sing-a-long into the ceremony. The ceremony was outdoors at Winfrey Point on White Rock Lake in Dallas, Texas. The Sun set as they took their vows and became husband and wife. It was just about as perfect as you can get. We have had such good luck lately with cool couples it makes capturing these moments so much more rewarding.

Kate and Titus had a wonderful wedding up in Mckinney. The wedding was beautiful and Kate and Titus were radiant. The party went close to midnight as family and friends danced away. Ryan and I felt truly blessed that we were able to take part in this wonderful event.

We had a great engagement session with Janel and Nick. It was truly a lot of fun, filled with laughter and some wonderful light. Nick and Janel were up for battling the chiggers as we made our way to a field with wicked tall grass. The sun came out and the sky was golden.
